UCC and a Historic Milestone in Peru: First Charter Shipment from the Port of Paita

UCC, together with Cool Carriers, carried out the first reefer vessel shipment under a charter modality from the Port of Paita, with grapes destined for export. This milestone marks a before and after for the industry, officially inaugurating the first charter season in the history of the Peruvian agribusiness sector from the Port of Paita, and consolidating a new chapter in the country’s fruit logistics.

The company was both witness and protagonist of this event, represented by the UCC Peru team led by its Country Manager, Fernanda Canevaro, along with Alberto Chaji, Operations Manager of the UCC Group.

With this achievement, UCC reaffirms its role as a strategic ally of the agro-export sector, driving efficiency, competitiveness, and the sustainable growth of Peruvian exports to the world’s main markets.
